Mischa Jones is a musician and performance-maker who lives in Cornwall. Her pronouns are she/her. She is a member of award-winning theatre company, Rocket Box.
In 2020, Mischa graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice; she received the Waddilove scholarship to study.

In 2019, Mischa directed Alice Birch's award-winning Many Moons, which was shown as part of York's Create, Engage, React festival. This production completed its national tour in 2020.
Mischa wrote audio plays: Early Woman and an adaptation of A Christmas Carol, for Rocket Box's 2020 digital season, Rocket Bytes.
Her acting credits include roles with the National Youth Theatre (Bluestockings at The Yard Theatre, directed by Alice Knight, The Tempest at The Royal and Derngate Theatre, directed by Caroline Steinbeis, and BEAT at Goldsmiths University, directed by Alice Knight).
She studied a BA with Honours in Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance at the University of York. She worked with Brechtian practitioner, David Barnett on The Crucible (2017) and Unrepentant (2018).
Mischa also worked as a designer and stage manager with The Young Pretenders on I'm Spilling My Heart Out Here and Charlie Cook's Favourite Book. I'm Spilling My Heart Out Here was shown at multiple UK venues, including Theatre Royal Plymouth and the National Theatre. The show went on to win a Devon Performance Award in 2016.
Her undergraduate dissertation discussed the politics of gig theatre, and her area of interest continues to lie in political and popular theatre.
As a musician and singer, Mischa has sung with jazz collective, Fika on their debut EP, Respiration, Vol. 1.
